This is just past the finish line (last stage of the Tour Down Under). I have a love hate relationship with this image its probably too dark and I wish I could see the rider more clearly, but I do like the crowd in the foreground and as its the start of Paris Nice on Sunday thought i'd put it out there....

I had the good fortune to meet The Polyphonic Spree. These shots were taken on Venice beach, over the weekend of the Coachella music festival.The magazine unfortunately survived for only 12 issues, but it was good while it lasted and I enjoyed every edition. You live and learn...

It's not everyday you get to photograph an ex world surf champion with a $50 octopus on his head. I had a $10 bet with my editor that he would not do it and I lost. Kodak 400 TMax darkroom print number 3 filter.

I think this was taken back in 2001, on a trip to New York with Tom. We went to see Ben Kweller play at CBGB's. I wish I'd paid more attention because you'd be looking at a great shot of inside CBGB's instead of this old fella crossing a New York street.

Kodak 400 TMax. Dark room print so picked up a little dust when scanned in. Whilst pop socks aren't ordinarily beautiful things, I like the contrast of the black on white.
